I've done my research and it's not an easy choice. I chose them because they appear to be waterproof (I haven't tried submerging them in water but I think so). But they are not wormy enough. .(for the Chicago area) . I'm the right size for me, but there seems to be a "plastic" membrane on the inside (for water resistance) that slips into the glove when you're trying to grab something. I'd be ok with that too, but NO EYES AT ALL. I've already removed all the tags, so I guess I'll keep them, but . Today I'm going to Duluth Trading and buying a nice pair of socks and gloves. The people of Duluth know what it's like to be cold. So I hope it's the right product. Don't repeat my mistake and don't go to a store that has climbing, hunting, or cold weather products. Revain reviews get too mixed for some of these products. I'm usually happy with what I buy here at Revain, but... not with this one. Hope this helps someone. stay warm :)
