Review on Maybelline New York Washable Blackest Makeup : Eyes by Megan White

Best mascara I've ever used (for Kardashian style lashes)

I was shocked to read so many bad reviews on here. I bought this product on a whim without reading any reviews about it, which is very unlike me. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I have very short, short blonde lashes and I like their big, wide, dramatic look. Before that I had never been able to achieve length, density and drama with a mascara. Also, it doesn't stick, rinses off very easily and my lashes stay soft and not rough. Just don't take a normal one for swimming, it'll start soon. I bought a waterproof for swimming and it didn't perform nearly as well as the original. This review is strictly for non-waterproof. I have this mascara in a very black color and it really impressed me. What the reviews seem to repeat is that this is a very thick formula. That's true, but I just wipe the stick down a bit before applying and apply lots of layers. I sometimes use a dry, clean wand to remove clumps before the mascara dries. I got so many compliments while applying this mascara, it definitely looks like I'm wearing Kardashian style false lashes without the crazy clumps. When you first get mascara, it is very sticky. Think of it like a new pair of shoes because after a few uses it'll be fine. Just play around with it a bit and don't give up because it can be a gorgeous dramatic look if that's what you want. If you like length but not drama, this is definitely not for you. The only thing I would like to say about this mascara that I don't like is that like all other drugstore brands it contains some very harsh chemicals and while I like the effect I'm switching to natural mascara. very bad for the eyes. All in all, if you're ok with chemicals, this mascara will definitely shock you, despite all the other bad reviews. If you don't believe me, check out the before and after photos I've attached.
