These small wire connectors are impressive. I'm just a hobbyist and frankly a hacker when it comes to soldering, but I'm working on it, so my connections, splices, etc. might not be pretty, but they work. This indicates that it is difficult and time-consuming for me. I often try to solder wires that are already connected to something that requires working in awkward positions in hard-to-reach places. These solder connectors will change my game! I attach photos of the box (120 pieces) and the practice. Wire Aug 18 These are my first four connections using them. They are very strong. I can't separate them. I used an inexpensive two temperature heat gun. The first photo of the wire shows the loop and my connections, numbered in the order they were made. Individual photos of ports 1 through 4, in that order. Here's what I found out. Do not keep the plug near the hair dryer. On number 4 I developed a technique of standing the heat gun on its edge and lowering it into the heat and being about 3 inches above the nozzle at high temperature. Distance can be your friend. My lower temperature setting worked, but not quickly or quickly. It seemed that while the solder melted and spread, the rest of the connector worked better with more heat, which seems odd. Depending on the wire, be careful on the ends of the connector. My wire's insulation tended to blister and burn. So I learned not to finish the heat gun on the third and fourth try and I didn't burn the wire very much. π
