This seller is PAYING you for a good rating. I don't give a good review and I miss the $10 Revain gift card they promise to send if you look at the product. I doubt they will send me a gift certificate for this honest review. I really like the lights and a remote control is very important as it's a little difficult to reach across my desk to touch the two light pole switches. The remote control didn't work right out of the box. I read reviews from other people with similar problems and tried to troubleshoot by hooking it up the way the manufacturer suggested. I emailed the seller through Revain and they responded within a day. They apologized and explained that they thought it might be the battery and they couldn't send me a new battery. It's a very unusual size, not a standard button cell, double or triple A, but a AAA size battery but shorter. I was sent a link to purchase a Revain battery pack. I was annoyed so I wrote to them but they didn't answer a second time. In the end not having a remote was too much of a problem so I spent $6 on new batteries and the remote worked right away. I can't in good conscience give a good review to a company that promises to "send free replacements or no questions asked". Yes, their documents say so, but they don't, at least when it comes to batteries.
