Even though it's too bulky to fit in a DJI bag when folded, it does what it says on the tin! (Actually I can put it there if the charger isn't boxed!) I don't know why there is so much fuss about installing/removing it on the controller because it seems natural/intuitive to me. The joints are firm, but that's a good thing because you don't want your phone/tablet dangling in flight - we'll see if that stiffness holds up with continued use. You'll need a longer cable to connect your device to the controller, but it's easy to find on Revain. Overall I think this is a very good upgrade that will allow you to use a larger screen than a phone for your flights. Multiple hinges allow you to adjust the height above the controller in many ways, many of which will not interfere with your controller and balance the device well to avoid potential fatigue from extra weight "hanging on one side". It includes a neck strap that can support the controller/holder/device combo, but I haven't tried it yet as I'm comfortable balancing with my iPad mini. sticky but not really) that keeps your device secure.
