I bought this product after carefully researching many other brands. I needed a bald hat for my fiancé as I wanted to transform him into Mr. Grew from Despicable Me. When I searched for ready made bald patches I couldn't find any with great reviews so I did a little research on how to make a DIY bald patch. Following the instructions on how to make a liquid latex bald head, the bald head came out almost perfectly. The only issues with the cap came from using the styrofoam head as a platform to assemble the cap. I highly recommend using a non-porous smooth service to create a bare cap, otherwise there will be small bulges all over the cap. The only thing I would change is to use clear liquid latex instead of soft beige just because soft beige was a bit more difficult to match his natural skin tone. If I had used transparent liquid latex, I think it would have been easier for me to match his natural skin tone with makeup. I've attached some photos to see his transformation from a full head of hair to a naturally bald man. If you plan to use this product to create a bald spot, don't forget to also buy an alcohol-based gum to stick it in place!
