I honestly use coasters so I don't know what's going on. I still think the table is great and have contacted the customer service center to see what they can do about a replacement as I've only had the table a little over a year. I have downgraded my rating pending a response from support with a solution. Just unbelievable! I was looking for NICE looking compact black side tables. Most of the tables I looked at were way overpriced for what I was willing to pay, and it was also difficult to find small tables that I really like. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The tables (I ordered two) were packed very well. There was no real damage, but one of the under counter pads was a bit loose on one end, but nothing we couldn't fix with wood glue in the future if we decided to do it. When the table is set up, it's not noticeable, so I don't get stuck on it. My husband and I put it together in minutes. The only issue we had was that the cam locks were a bit buried in one of the shelves and we had to constantly adjust them to get them in place. However, good old teamwork has taken over! These tables are small and short which is what I wanted as we are downsizing our space in the near future. Be sure to check the measurements and use a tape measure before you buy. I did and I KNEW what I was getting so I wasn't surprised by the size. The finish is very nice and even. I think they look very expensive and for the price I paid I would happily buy them again. They are strong and, despite their miniature size, have significant weight. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over the next few years as I have no plans to buy any more tables. If I remember this I will provide an update. *** A little over a year passed before the top of one of the tables started peeling off. There are also small cracks in the paint in the same place. Otherwise I have no complaints! They cost what I paid for them, which is a lot less than it is now.
