A few years ago I adopted my sister's cat. He is energetic and has been teased/molested A LOT while in my sister's care. Literally, she and her husband walked the cat along the walls. Literally. Like. The walls up. Anyway, he enjoys his space and privacy and is still ridiculously tense. I bought these collars for fleas but I have found my very nervous cat to be a very different/calmer type. He started snuggling up, purring and seeming more outgoing. It also calmed our newest addition, a 5 month old kitten.
