I worked in pediatrics for ten years where we used a higher quality thermometer but also this brand. The pediatrician recommended this one instead of paying $400 for the high end. I've been using it with all the kids for about 8 years and I love it. I recently lost mine so I bought these as a spare. The battery lasts a long time and when it dies a regular dollar store battery lasts over 6 months. It is very easy to use and very accurate. Also measures the temperature of babies very quickly and easily. Just don't take your temperature as soon as you enter from the outside, because the forehead still keeps the outside temperature, the same applies immediately after bathing or showering. If the temporary environment has changed, wait 20 minutes before taking measurements. I highly recommend this product.
