I had high hopes for the Revain Basics brand cable but what I got was rubbish. I bought it to work with my new iPhone 12 Pro Max as my car only has USB (no USB-c). My device wouldn't recognize that the phone was plugged in, or if it did and I shook the cord, it wouldn't recognize it anymore. It was junk from day one and I had to do my best to get it back. Don't waste money. I bought an Anker brand cable and it works stably right out of the box so it doesn't look like a car or phone issue.
