I liked the belt from the start. I'm reviewing the L Brown 2073. It was easy to set up. The band material felt thick and strong and has held up well for the last 9 months. Its 1.5 inch width is perfect for my denim belt loops, but was a bit tight for my phone. The bad news is that the ratchet/buckle broke after less than a year. Although it looks and feels solid, the ratchet portion of the buckle is made from a fragile metal pot and has broken in half, rendering it unusable. I wish they had interchangeable buckles as part of the strap is still in great condition. I really liked the belt while it lasted. It didn't break the bank but I expected it to take longer than 9 months. In fact, it has been my favorite belt to this day. I was very disappointed this morning when this belt didn't snap and didn't even last a year. I'll try another brand but might order another one of these for a change.
