Daughter is 10 but she wears 7/8 well, we order size 10 and she fits the length perfectly. The elastic at the sides allows her to adjust the pants for a tighter fit and allow her room to grow. We bought them last year and my daughter loves the strap, the length and most importantly the comfort and quality π
