DIY LED Sign Upgrade

I replaced the fluorescent lights in my 10 x 3 foot sign with these LEDs. I connected a 200w 12v power adapter to the power supply. I used 6 strands of 20 LED modules each for a total of 120 LED modules for this project. According to my calculations, each strand requires 24 watts. This means that 6 strands require about 150 watts. That's why the 200W power adapter. You should only use 80 to 85% of the total power. Each strand was reconnected to the outputs of the power supply so there was no voltage drop. I used matte white spray paint to clean the back of the sign. I also used a small amount of silicone on each module so they don't come loose if the 3M glue dries or fails. So far it's working like a champ and the shield's lighting is stable. I am very satisfied with the result. I hope they last a long time and I don't have to change bulbs or the power supply for years. Update: I also used them on both sides of my 14' x 4' main shield. Let me tell you that I'm happy with the results. I placed the strands in rows 6 inches apart and it turned out fantastic. I hope the photos do it justice. I used 2 200W power supplies on each side to power the LEDs. Saved a lot of money if a sign company did it.
