These are very good quality cameras that offer reliable viewing. They have options for both cloud and regular cameras, so buy them wisely depending on your use case. Personally, I find solid advantages for both. I have certain cameras where I want to keep the footage on me and use a local network storage device for the footage, while other cameras (puppy cam) where I just need to view and record it aren't paramount. Personally, I think it could be the same cameras with different options for maximum flexibility, but it's clear that companies are developing products that fit their business models. My only major criticism of these cameras is that they are not POE. The fact that they have an RJ45 port that is not powered is very frustrating. I have no doubt that the price should be higher with this technology. I've worked with everything from consumer home cameras like Zmodo to Ubiquiti and enterprise solutions. Although aperture always plays a role in cameras, these are excellent quality cameras. The night vision is pretty impressive at the distance you want to see it. Adjusting is an absolute no-brainer to the point where I wish there was a slightly more technical way :P Holding the camera to read the QR code is annoying but works well. I want the cameras to use something other than wireless g. It's disappointing that many of these home devices use it. My smart thermostat is wireless too, so it's not uncommon. The software is easy to use and cloud services are cheap if you choose cloud storage. Unless you plan on investing in some local storage options, you should probably go for the cloud option as it's much easier. feeds on it.
