The lens was bought as an ultra-wide lens with a constant aperture for crop, for landscapes and for video shooting, so I did not consider lenses without a constant aperture at all focal lengths. My personal opinion is that the lens is soapy and dark. And consider that without autofocus. Maximum sharpness is achieved at aperture F11, more or less acceptable starts somewhere from F8. I took it for a wide angle, preferred the more versatile 12-28 to the less versatile 11-16 (Tokina AT-X 116 Pro DX II Canon EF-S). Now I regret it a little, because F2.8 is lighter, and in terms of sharpness, judging by the reviews, they are about the same. Sigma 10-20 is terribly lame and misses the target, which God forbid. (At least it was like that on all the specimens I tested). Moreover, the cropped Tokina works quietly on full-frame cameras, but Sigma does not. I advise you to take it only if you need an ultra-wide with a constant aperture ratio and you are ready to put up with tangible soap and everything else. If you don't want to put up with it - there are almost no zooms with suitable focal lengths, even in the case of the Canon EF 8-15mm you will have to make certain compromises (the impossibility of using filters and the high price). When you take it, make sure that the optics-matrix connection is not broken (one edge is soapier than the other), Tokina often sins with this, and then you can’t fix it with any adjustment.
