Not as bright as I was hoping, but I think it's ok at night. The neighbors will certainly not bother you. It would be nice to choose colors that alternate to make them more seasonal/holiday specific and use them more often than Christmas. Overall it's ok for the price. It turned out that three strands cover the side and front of the house, with a continuation at the back and the other long side of the house. From the street they seem to cover the whole house. When we were building our house, I asked the electricians to install outlets under the awnings from dusk to dawn. Simplified power supply for headlights. There is a gap from the gutter trim to the gable trim where I covered the LED trough with black automotive electrical wire tubing so the crossover lights couldn't be seen. Looks very clean.
