I'm a digital artist and I spent too much money on pens for my iPad Pro. This is the one I chose. It's not *the softest*, but it's way better than a mere pencil and does what it has to do for me. A lot of people say their pen doesn't charge when held in their hand. This is a user error. You need to place the pen so that the flat part is on the flat part of the pencil. It must also have access to lay DIRECTLY on the iPad's side. If you have a case between your iPad and Pencil, it won't fit. My suitcase has open sides, so that's not a problem.
