Review on Nexen N Fera RU1 225/60 R17 99 year old by Felicja Szczepaska ( ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I put it on the Opel Antara instead of the regular Dunlop SP270 R18, which I drove for 3 seasons. Well balanced, 2 wheels 35g each, 2 wheels 55g each. The Nexen is a lot stiffer, I guess due to the stiffer sidewall, and also heavier than the Dunlop. The reverse side is sharper handling, in extreme conditions, when Dunlop broke off with a squeal, Nexen holds on to the asphalt confidently, it seems that the car will roll over rather than the tires will skid . Hydroplaning resistance is also decent, the car does not "float" at speed. Noisiness is below average, fuel consumption is less by about 1-1.2 liters. The tire resource is interesting, they say it won’t be enough for 3 seasons . Time will tell. I will add a review. Summary - worthy tires at an affordable price with a sporty character. If they were softer, I would put "5". No wonder they are installed (or installed) on the Porsche Cayenne in the initial configuration

Pros
  • price-quality ratio; "derzhak" on dry and wet asphalt,
Cons
  • hard, heavy
