Review on Pure Comfort Adjustable Prevention CertiPUR US by Sean Chase

I ordered one of these for sleeping on the side with in-ear headphones. Shortly after the purchase, the seller contacted me and offered me a second pillowcase. It was really great customer service and they responded to my concerns about the comfort of these pillows for my needs. They suggested other products they sell and possible alternative solutions. After trying this pillow I couldn't use it for more than one night. The pressure on my neck and face was too uncomfortable for me. I've made some changes to the memory foam and it's much more comfortable. I've been sleeping on it for a week now and I really like the modifications. It would be great if the manufacturer included some/all of these for better sleep. I give them 4 stars for their great customer service and communication and I was able to customize it to my needs with a bread knife. Here is a list of problems/suggestions. The numbers correspond to one of the photos I included in this review.1. The double lids make the ear hole bag not match the fabric, so the hole size is reduced. It also prevents the canal under the ear piercings from being free.2. Since the second cover is permanently installed, it cannot be washed when dirty.3. The canals under the ear openings could be widened or cut in a different direction to relieve pressure on the carotid artery in the sleeper's neck. The crest at the top puts unnecessary pressure and requires a certain head size to sit comfortably. The same problem exists with the raised ribs on the left/right side of the pillow. This also puts extra pressure on your eyes and sinuses. The distance between the bottom of the ear hole and the bottom of the pillow is too big to accommodate a tall man's shoulder to ear distance. This is probably an even bigger problem for shorter people.6. It would be a good idea to sell the extra pillowcase you suggested with the pillow as normal pillowcases do not go well with the current pillow design. So you could have one in the laundry room and one on the pillow.7. The inner bottom channel has "buttons" that put more pressure on the neck than necessary.8. The ear on the human head lies diagonally rather than vertically.9. Using a standard pillowcase works great with the modifications I suggested. This allows customers to use their own covers/fabrics. It doesn't look as pretty, but it's much more convenient and flexible to use our existing pillowcases and designs to match other pillows/sheets.10. The large ear holes are also suitable for sleeping on your back as the head is on either side of the ear hole.
