My Galaxy S8's data/charge port emits a genie, so I was looking for a wireless car charger and mount. grabbed him. The device automatically grabs and holds your phone. it feels when the device is placed in it, then the two side arms snap into place. Very convenient! Removing the phone is done by touching one of the resistive capacitive buttons on the bottom sides of the cradle. Also convenient and annoying, because if you accidentally press a button, shall we say. Playing around with your maps app frees up the phone. I had some issues with charging disconnecting due to overheating. However, this happened when running GPS and streaming music apps. And of course. It's attached to the windshield so I'm pretty sure it's the whole thing and not the fault of the device itself. Overall I'm very happy with this item and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wireless charging station.
