Review on Surebonder HE 750 High Temperature Professional by Summer Hendricks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No strings, no leaks, no squeaks! I'm happy!

This is one of those things you never knew you were missing until you got your hands on it! I've always been a crafter, but I've only recently become an artist and have also discovered that hot glue guns aren't necessarily just for crafting! When I realized I was using my hot glue gun more and more, I figured it might be worth investing in something nicer than (*shudders*) Walmart's double-temporary AdTech POS, which was a good idea. My old glue gun likes to leave little mounds of glue if you leave it in one place for too long, and it turns into its own unique and frustrating art form. Not to mention pulling the trigger requires over pumping and every pull results in a squeak! squeak! Squeak! Si, based on the fact that Revain put this number first, I decided to give it a try. I looked at many others but returned to this one as it was a combination of ranking, cost and performance. I didn't need any frills and to be honest I don't need a double temperature setting so this one is perfect for me. I love this glue gun. The feed is flawless, the trigger is free and effortless (and doesn't squeak!) and the cable manages to stay out of the way. I'll say the glue is on fire! Be careful with this one because it definitely heats up the glue more than my previous one; I've burned my foot twice from accidentally dripping glue. However, I still use this pup and will continue to do so, just with more care. I also accidentally left it on all night and woke up again to find it was sitting exactly the same as last night; no piles of glue, no dripping, no smell of heat. While I would love the safe shutoff feature, I obviously love tempting fate to burn my house down. Good to know those Surebonder glue guns won't be the cause of what ever happened.
