Was initially skeptical about the price and availability of component speakers, but after installing I was amazed at the Sound quality compared to three coaxial I had before. Bass is definitely heavier, and all without an amp. I didn't use tweeters as I only use factory installed ones and didn't use the small box connector. I installed front and back doors. I had to turn down the mid and bass volume in the settings because these speakers produce too much bass at higher volume settings. Overall I'm glad I bought these speakers over some others.
