Slightly imprecise Snug.Size table

Really nice top but unfortunately XL was a bit small for my 8 year old. She has a small tummy and it was tight. It doesn't have much stretch. A size larger would be perfect! The size chart for this product is also inaccurate so I was unable to use it to determine if it would fit her. Come again :(
