Excellent belt. I like the ratcheting mechanism that tensions and holds the strap. Good durable leather. Addendum: After a year of use, the leather tears. It consists of two layers of thin leather with another material in between. The outer skin is the skin that splits. Also, the latch that holds the belt to the buckle uses friction to keep the belt in place. After about a month the clasp has compressed the strap so much that the clasp no longer holds well and the strap detaches from the buckle. Depending on the moment, the buckle could fall to the ground or simply get caught on the ratchet.
