Review on DRD Desantis Econo Belt Size Women's Accessories by Chris Endricko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't let the price fool you, this is a very good IWB riser. I've had it for a month now and no problems!

Good belt, good price and AMERICAN MADE from a great leather company. It's not the strongest/stiffest strap, but it's great for carrying the IWB. No problems with it, everything is good and tight on the body. At OWB, it tends to sag a bit when carrying a full-size pistol. (This is the ONLY negative I could find for this belt.) But I will NOT complain about the price. (Also, I almost always wear the M&P Shield, and my full size weighs almost twice as much.) It can be worn with casual or business attire; It's not like a "gun belt" if you need to dress up a bit. The buckle is of good quality, the stitching is strong and beautiful. I've been wearing it for a few months now and only had a chance to check it out today so I can do an accurate wear test. I've lost a few pounds since buying this belt and I just used a hole punch to make some new holes so I can wear it tighter. I had a 36" waist when I got it, so I got 40" to give extra room for my M&P shield and holster. It worked great and I was on the second hole from the last. Now I have 34 inches but with the new holes I punched everything is fine and tight. In case you're wondering, I used a *grooved* hollow punch that I had in my tool box and studied it well. knock with a hammer. Works well. If you must do this, make sure you use a grooved one so it tapers the skin into the hole. Otherwise, it will look bad and wear out the skin. I think it's a very good belt for the price. I love it and honestly I see no need to buy a more expensive one. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't sag when wearing OWB, but it's such minor things - choice. If you wear an IWB, I recommend trying that sling first, even if you have the budget for an expensive rifle sling. I bet he'll do the job just fine and you can put some extra cash in your ammo can.
