After reading some other reviews I was a little apprehensive about this cable but couldn't find a real alternative. This is a durable cable - much thicker than any other USB cable I've used. However, it is quite flexible. I can't speak for durability but my use will be light. I haven't used this in a project yet, but it will be coming soon. During testing, it was able to transfer raw images from the EOS R camera to my computer very quickly. Much faster than my previous camera which only supported USB 2.0. The camera also indicated that it was charging when connected. Cable recommends not doing this, but I'm not sure if there's a way to stop this. I would definitely recommend using some sort of strain relief that attaches to the camera. The USB-C connector is quite small and the cable has a lot of leverage. The JerkStopper will work fine, but one of the reviews mentions using all-purpose quick release straps, which I use. This makes it easy to change things like a belt or tether.
