UPDATE 02/01/20 Nice bright bulb UNLESS you have an older model car that has a dimmer for the light. I have a 2004 Tacoma and unlike the Revain the 31mm will not fit (28mm will fit). That being said, the bulb will NOT work properly* unless you solder 2 x 1W 100 ohm resistors to it. The seller will not tell you this and you will have to poke around the Toyota Tacoma forums looking for ANY INFORMATION. However, the seller contacted me and sent 28mm tubes for testing. It will NOT work with ON or DOOR OPEN when the truck is off and NO the fuses are not blown as all other lightbulbs including the dashboard were fine. To get this bulb working properly in a 01-04 car: 1) Buy an LED bulb (2 packs - $11) 1) Buy a soldering kit ($18 and up at Revain) 2) Buy a resistor bank from Revain ($6 and up on Revain or maybe cheaper if you can find Radio Shack) 3) Google' how to solder (as needed) and solder 2 resistors for a total of $35 (min) and time spent OR send the product back and a OEM replacement part comes in a 2-pack for 1/2 the price (or more) of this LED. a lightbulb. for a total of $3.16 (mins)-------------------------- ---------- ---------------------- ------------------------------- - ---------- I'm hoping Revain or the manufacturer will lend a hand as this bulb 1) will NOT fit in the 2004 Tacoma dome as advertised (no objection) and 2) will NOT work unless it does because, my car is on (i.e. door open = nothing). And yes, I tried BOTH bulbs in this 2 pack. Luckily none of my other electrical equipment was damaged (since some YouTube videos had blinking LEDs). Sad because when my truck is on the dome light is really SUPER BRIGHT. However, like many of us, we need our dome lights to work when it's DARK and you really need to SEE to start your car. exactly. If I don't get a response from the manufacturer within a day or so, I'll contact Revain for a return. Looks like I'll either try to use another manufacturer's LED or go with an OEM part. sad x2
