This blanket is very beautiful and soft. I ordered a king bed as full/queen sets are usually too narrow for my queen pillow top mattress and I'm so glad I did. The king actually fits my queen bed perfectly, falling under the mattress and resting squarely on the sled slats (which also cover the box springs) which are great for my setup. As mentioned in other reviews, the duvet is long and narrow. In my photo it is folded in half and you can see that it covers more than half the length of the mattress. Also, I extended the end over the edge of the bed behind the footboard (which you can't see). This works great for me. A full/queen bed set would only cover the top of my mattress. For a regular bed (not a sleigh bed), the king bed might be a bit long, or maybe too big (it also covers the spring blocks), but it works perfectly for me. I just lowered it over the end of the bed and the footboard hides the extra length.
