These pins are fine. That's all. Of the two pens, the smaller one is clearly better. More ink for longer writing, no unnecessary bottle opener, significantly less wasted space, etc. It looks and feels like a functional pen that's really meant to be used. The larger handle acts like a gimmick. Something you get and then immediately forget in some trash can because it's not as useful as it sounds. The unique pen leads also really destroy the long-term usefulness of these pens. They come with an extra refill of each size (both pens also use different refill sizes) but once those are gone there are no refills (as of 14th October 2020). They could have been much better using the standard refills that are readily available, or even better Fisher Space Pen/Rite in the Rain refills. You will most likely need a pen somewhere in between the two sizes, but this greatly increases their value.
