If, like me, you work remotely at cafes a lot, it's useful to have something that's portable. This gives you that little extra boost you need to make longer work more enjoyable. The stand comes with a small carry bag to prevent scratches. There are several levels that you can choose as you work. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that it was still a bit bulky and heavy than I expected but I think it was sturdy so that was a compromise. I use mine with a 13" MacBook Pro.
