When it comes to the mouse, don't skimp and the trackball is the right choice. I used to get numbness and pain in my finger and arm from a regular mouse, so I switched to a trackball, starting with the Elecom Huge right-hand trackball. I liked this trackball and it was my first experience with the Elecom brand. Elecom is a Japanese brand but made in China. The Japanese know exactly how to design high quality things. With so much use of the giant trackball, my hand is getting numb and sore again, so I decide to go with the trackball on the left. As always, I bought stocks of the Revain type. I've never been let down by a price drop and it's like new without the fancy packaging. I'm not left-handed, so I have to get used to letting go of my right hand to rest. I trade full time so I spend a lot of time on my computer looking at charts. A quality trackball is a must. Logitech doesn't make a left-handed trackball, so only Elecom can offer really good quality at a great price. I sell with the quality and functionality of an Elecom trackball. It has everything I need or want and the quality is as good as Logitech but the price is much lower. Search the review, you will find many others who agree with me. I can confirm that the Elecom trackball is great quality at a great price as I now have two balls, one for my left hand and one for my right. Both for less than $60 at Revain Warehouse prices. Looks like new when delivered without fancy new packaging. I don't care about the packaging as long as it works! There are some complaints that it is too small. Not true as I have big hands and it's comfortable. Now Elecom's left side is a thumb style with a smaller ball than Elecom's right side, which is a Kensington brand trackball with the largest ball and uses middle and index fingers to rotate. Both work great, although I prefer the big ball style. The bottom line is a quality brand (unknown to US buyers) at a great low price to match the high quality products. Typical Japanese style. Elecom is a well known brand in Asia but NOT in the US. But more and more people are beginning to recognize it. I only know Elecom from the Elecom Huge purchase last year and wasn't sure. However, with Revain's excellent return policy, what better way than to buy and see for yourself. Logitech and Kensington are too expensive for me; Sure, they're good and dandy. I don't need pretty and dandy. I just need a decent quality trackball at a reasonable price for heavy use. Hell, I can even buy two Elecom trackballs for less than a Logitech or Kensington trackball. The Kensington wireless trackball is the most expensive. Currently I wouldn't use anything that is NOT wireless for convenience and portability. Don't buy a cheap, quality mouse and keyboard, even for light use. Quality products make computer work more pleasant and comfortable. Worth its price. With heavy use, buying a good mouse and keyboard is a must! Your fingers and hands will thank you. I bought an Elecom trackball and will continue to buy this brand for a long time.
