Review on Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker, Silver, 1: The Perfect Breakfast Companion by Kiesha Williams

I deliberately bought a cheap waffle iron. But I had no idea how cheap it really was. Many reviews said the hinge was a little "wobbly". They also wrote what a sloppy temperature controller. What I ordered can't be that bad, can it? Mine came with no hinge pin on one side! And the side that had the hinge pin should be close to the tensile strength. temperature controller? Well, the photo doesn't show how sloppy this really is, but out of the whole range of slides, maybe half of them actually do, as the slide is incredibly sloppy. I have three other old (5+ year old) small Cuisinart units - either they are some sort of fake, or their quality has dropped dramatically. I hope for the former. Stay away - I'll get it back asap!
