Take off on first use
Product requires a tight fit to resist vertical movement, which requires some torque on the bottom nut. I tightened mine to about 50 ft-lb (68 Nm) and drove around the block to check. The product worked as intended. But I never managed to remove any of the nuts. Apparently the threads in the nut were snapped and I couldn't turn it either way no matter how hard I tried. I had to cut the piece off my hitch with a cutter.
