My daughter is 12 years old and has very small feet for her age so I ordered a size for 8-12 years. She only wears size 2 shoes so 4-7x seemed too big. They fit her now, but she'll likely outgrow them in her next growth spurt. It's strange that the method of sizing is inconsistent. Besides that, she loves them.
