The speed in which we can develop applications, and the ability to share all of our code with other team members (or just ourselves if we wanted). We've been able to prototype some really cool stuff very quickly using marmalade. It's easy enough for people who have never used it before, but powerful enough for those that are more familiar with other tools. I would say that the biggest benefit is being able to create something fairly complex with the ease of use. There is still room for improvement in terms of the documentation and how much you get out of the box as far as functionality goes. With Marmalade, we were able to build an entire platform in a few months instead of years.
