I buy a lot of straps as a watch collector and fitter. Both hobbies. For a collector, new "Signature Straps" can cost up to $500 (e.g. FP Journe, H. Moser, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe). However, I love wearing all my watches and wearing out the branded strap can be expensive as a result. As a result, I buy so-called "beater straps" for some of my favorite watches. These are beautiful alligator pattern leather straps. If I have to go to a special event where a genuine alligator strap is a must, I simply exchange my strap for a signature strap that looks like new. mainly because I saved it for just such an occasion. When I make my own watch by putting the case, dial, hands and movement together, I end up with a strap that fits the watch I made. In addition to being affordable, WOCCI straps come with their own spring bar and an additional spring bar. This makes it easy to switch bands back and forth. The one I have is 20mm brown with alligator pattern and white stitching. A good bracelet either for one of my collected works or as a bracelet for a finer watch. Excellent purchase.
