I bought 4 aftermarket chargers for my Microsoft Surface Pro 6 - 1 in November 2019, then the first charger from this brand in February 2020 which after Been down for 6 weeks, then another in March 2020 (the one still powering my laptop as I type this) and the last in July 2020 which was dead instantly. The 1st of this model had to constantly fiddle around to recharge and was still burning at 75%. After 6 weeks the light kept flashing but if I held it still I was able to charge it. About a week after it started flashing, it completely failed. I'll say compared to the 1st aftermarket I took and these don't overheat. they get a lot warmer on cloth, so just keep them on something non-flammable to be safe. I have to say that for this price I was very annoyed after reading so many 5 star reviews. While the OEM charger is dead after 4 months, the fact that only 1 of the 3 I bought worked well is unacceptable. The one that STILL WORKS works really well and has already survived the OEM failure after 4 months. So it's an affordable option if you can count on it to work.
