Review on Blathers Amiibo Crossing Nintendo Wii U by James Hardy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The condition is great, like new. Works perfectly.

I love Blathers and Celeste, I already had a Celeste but couldn't find Blathers in local stores so I turned to Revain. It was a good price plus shipping and it was almost the same price I would have paid for the item + taxes (about $9.50 or so) if I could find it in stores. The product came in its box. I wasn't sure if this item was new or used as the original description when purchased said it was used - good condition but the title/price description said it was new - never unused or anything like that. Now I see that their description has changed to "used everywhere". When I finally received it and inspected it myself, I could tell that it had been used. I'm not mad about it, I would have bought it anyway. How can I tell it has been used? There was a tiny scratch on the underside where the chip should have been so the Wii U or Switch could tell what the symbol was. Basically you can only see it when light hits it in a certain way. It's so small I think it's probably only been used once or twice. In fact it is in very, very good condition. It has no other scratches, dents or other damage. The colors are bright, just like his Animal Crossing character, and there's nothing wrong with the cartoon. It works great with my Nintendo Switch, although Blathers can't live on your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons but still get nice on-screen interaction. I have no complaints about Blathers. It still behaves like new. I also received the Blathers a few days later, although at the time of my order the Covid-19 news was widespread and everyone was on high alert. At the time it was said that Prime shipments would not be carried out, although this item is not Prime eligible and we may have to wait. I'm glad it was delivered quickly and I'm grateful too. All in all a great purchase for me.
