The buttons on the inside of the diaper are spaced as wide as the Best Bottom pads and they were cheaper so I bought them. There seems to be a gap between the edges of the liner and the edge of the diaper which I think could disappear if I use diaper specific liners. And for my heavy humidifier, closing the gap can be a must. The idea for her is great - use the same cover for multiple diaper changes. Once or twice, even after wiping the diaper, I felt that it smelled too strongly of urine to be reused. Every time my baby pooped in it I had to throw it in the laundry basket. There was no way to erase it well enough to even consider reusing it. So, in my experience, reusability depends entirely on how dirty the diaper is (but honestly, that's to be expected). Overall I'm very satisfied and will update my review once I get the right earbuds.
