I haven't installed it but I wanted to make a first impression. The price can't be beat, that's why I bought it. These are surface mount diode LEDs, unlike the competitors listed on Amazon. Another plus in my opinion. The tabs on the lenses break when removed and some are not secured at all. I plan to fix this problem with marine glue and/or epoxy during installation. You are bright enough. In no case are they waterproof. They have a lot of holes in the case and the lens is not airtight. The LED circuit board is bolted to the body, which is also a plus as the competition have used melted body material to glue the circuit board together. I am planning to drill a center hole for the wire and it will be easy due to the way they are assembled. I think with marine glue I can waterproof them. Great for someone on a budget, hope they hold up after all the energy I've put into them. Quality products cost $5 each versus $14 for $30. You get what you pay for. I hope to get 5 years of it.
