I have had a Brother HL-2270DW printer for about 2 years now. I've tried 3 of these toners (my wife uses them all the time for school printing). I would say they last 9 months to 1 year on me. If I could rate every gift I received, 2 would get 5 stars and one would get a 3 start. The 3-star one went through the phase of leaving constant streaks on the pages after about 6 months. I've just replaced the toner with new one and cleaned the toner holder (believe it or not, I found out that my printer has a "built-in" brush that you can run over the sensor roller, I highly recommend doing it afterwards to look for your printer when replacing the toner, do this instead of trash!). It worked. Overall I think this product exceeded all expectations and is definitely worth a fifth of the brand price. That being said, based on my experience with printers/toners in general (including branded cartridges), my expectations are low. The best estimate of when toner is low is 1000-2000 pages. Lasts longer than the ink the printer came with.
