Such a fan is very handy in the heat. I use it when gardening in the Arizona sun during the day. It fits comfortably around my neck and stays in place, pointing towards my neck to keep me cool. I don't blow dry my hair often, but it's nice to stay cool and not sweat while drying my hair! This would definitely come in handy when my car air conditioner died a few years ago before I could fix it! I suppose it would be nice for watching sports etc. The gum pack in the picture is just to give you a better idea of the size. Easily fits in a purse or small shoulder bag.
