At first I only use it as a beard trimmer. I have a large hair clipper. I'm not sure if they will be enough to cover my whole head but who knows. It's hard to find a beard trimmer that isn't cordless. Personally, I'm fed up with WiFi. They work well for a few months and then suddenly lose performance and/or battery life. That's one of the reasons I'm attracted to them. I read reviews that said it was noisy. I haven't had this problem. I use blade oil before each use. Maybe that will help. I like the fine details. It even works for nose hair, which is nice. For the beard I use Stubble Protection II. I think it's the perfect length. They're short enough to be considered stubble, but long enough to show off a defined beard (rather than looking like I just need to shave). The bottom line is that these are good quality, inexpensive beard trimmers that will (hopefully) last a long time. .
