The metal often twists in place as it is not sealed or glued to the plastic on the inside, making opening a water bottle very difficult. With these covers, however, the plastic broke within a few weeks. I don't really like the straw attachments that come with Hydrocell, but I use them now that I don't spend any more money on them. I just bought a couple more hydros and they have a new cover with a softer piece of rubber replacing the hard plastic. I will contact them and see if I can get a replacement directly from them.
