Review on LUCKY STEP Women's Athletic Shoes - Cushioned and Breathable Sneakers by Eric Teodoro

Revainrating 3 out of 5

These are definitely trendy shoes.

So I work with my feet most of the day and I bought these shoes more out of curiosity and I liked the colors. So that's the good, the bad, and not too great. Pros: The colors are cute. It's definitely an attractive shoe and I can clearly see why. They are bright and fun, with a unique style. In general, the design of the shoe is not bad. I'm assuming these are cement shoes based on the material. So it's effective, but like most running shoes, once it's destroyed, repairs are impossible. Easy to hack. Doesn't take much getting used to. The price is not bad. The Bad: The lacing system is very questionable. You can tighten the shoes, but loosening them will not be easy. It's also just a perforated fabric so it doesn't flow easily. No half sizes and width selection. If you are a half size like me, measure your foot again and check your foot length, arch length and width. I went for 8 and with my orthopedic insoles they fit very well. Which tells me they run small. Not a fan of pitted shoes. This is consistent with the previous point, but if it's tight you can't easily adjust it just by tugging on the tab. I don't like the laces because of the thickness of the laces. This is a very small thing, although easy to replace. Not too great: zero support. I know what they say about arches, but because the material they use is so weak that even a shoe with an insole doesn't give you enough control. The base doesn't offer enough support either. Air shoes develop a compression issue over time, so the base of the shoe actually follows your gait. In short, when you're piercing, you're still piercing because the base is wrinkling because of your weight. They are not deep. With swelling at the back of their minds or people who need deep shoes to accommodate their foot, they lose that luxury. Overall: 3/5 fair. They're cute and fun, but I wouldn't recommend them for people with severe foot problems or overpronation. These are generally fashion shoes, not work shoes.
