The back of this holder has a smooth, non-sticky surface that may stick to the wall if you press it against the wall and squeeze out the air bubbles to the best of your ability. I stuck it on the dry tiles in my bathroom, pressed it for half a minute and let it sit for 12 hours before using it. At first he seemed to have a good grip on a razor blade. However, the next day after a shower, moisture must have gotten into the back of the holder and the whole thing just fell off. I would prefer Tooletries to supply strong wall stickers (like those used to attach picture frames or wall hooks) so that the razor holder is much less likely to detach from the wall.
