I wear size 7.5 men's shoes, the medium size of these AnSun sports socks fits my feet. The size is average at 4.5-8.5. The socks did shrink a bit after I washed and dried them (tumble dry) but the shrinkage was not noticeable while wearing the socks. Socks have comfortable padding in the heel and toe area; When wearing it, I noticed the padding. I wear work boots every day and the socks have been very comfortable with my boots after walking and working outside in the heat all day. The socks are made in China from 75% cotton, 15% nylon and 10% polyester. They fell off my feet a bit, but not so much that I had to pull them up all day. The socks have a slightly higher tongue at the front, I don't know if that's sporty, but the higher tongue goes well with boots. The padding (pink on the black socks) looks a bit worn and I only washed and wore the socks twice. That's my only problem with socks.
