This is a high quality stereo microphone adapter. The case and fittings are very durable with gold plated connectors. Flexible yet durable. The connectors fit snugly and tightly, which is what you want. When I bought it I didn't realize it was a 1/8" to XLR stereo, although the product description couldn't be clearer. You need a dedicated XLR stereo cable jack to receive XLR stereo signals, and you'll end up with mono if you don't have that cable connection at that location. Remember to disconnect channel 2 from the 1/8 inch stereo cable on microphone cable 2. It may be necessary to mute channel 2 to get quiet mono. I've encountered many situations in my career where I could use this quality adapter and "save the day" at a gig by quickly hooking up a sound system that wowed my (PowerPoint) clients. Several times I saw sound engineers in the control booths. Make sure to add this to your tech bag so you too can "save the day" and look like a rock star.
