This is a very good quality dog bed. It's not light enough for our dog to carry around and still doesn't tend to chew on it. The bolster is very durable and supports her preference for sleeping on her back. Our dog snuggles up directly between the neck roll and the underframe and stays warm in the cold basement even on cold Alaskan nights. It is easy to vacuum by hand. Although it's a little inconvenient to remove the cover to wash, a bed this good is worth some of the effort. It should last for many years.
