Review on Pulaski Queen Upholstered Bed In Linen - 83" X 68.5" X 51" Shelter Back Design by Jerry Peebler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy, stylish, low-key, cozy & cool

A bed doesn't have to dominate a room to be terrific. The colors here are quiet, the lines soft, and - I don't know, there's just something about the styling that screams "cozy". (Quietly.) The Pulaski shelter back here was pretty easy to put together - okay, no tougher than the average you-know-which-Swedish-retailer U-assemble bed. I would say have three people on hand for the job of getting those "wings" butting up to the headboard right, and order pizza, because it's probably going to be more than a half an hour. Biggest complaint? There were holes in the fabric for attachment and - yeah, not quite lined up. I've assembled enough furniture to know how to finesse these little issues, but I'm still docking a star. Five star rating is for five star factory QC.It is nice that the aforementioned "wings" butting up to the headboard create a little hidey hole in the bed, although I wouldn't suggest stashing your savings there! If I didn't appreciate having drawers in the base of my (platform) bed so much, I might well want this in a king size for our master bedroom.

Pros
  • Bedroom Furniture
Cons
  • The bed frame may not accommodate additional storage underneath
